I figured I would write a guide with pictures to all those new folks that are going to be arriving at Manila(MNL) Airport for the very first time. I know, I know…. it isn’t that hard but really who wouldn’t want to prepair and know what to look for on the first trip? I hope this guide with pictures can help some of you guys out.

This is how the process should work when you get off the plane.

Follow the signs.

Head towards the SARS / Bird Flu watch station.

Walk through the SARS / Bird Flu watch station.

Make your way to immigration.

Collect your baggage.

Go to the customs counter and turn in your customs claims if you have any.

Walk out of the airport and cross the street.

You will see this green passenger arrival sign, walk down to the right or left. It all leads to the same place where your driver will be waiting to pick you up.

Once you reach the pick up area you will notice letters (A-Z) hanging across the street. This is where you will find your driver waiting for you. Most likely they will have a sign with your name on it.

Grab a San Mig Light and enjoy, your in the PI!
