1) YOU
are responsible for what YOU post: I'm
not taking the heat for you, plain and simple. I run and
pay for the board, THAT'S IT. If you post something that
is either (a) illegal or (b) upsetting to someone in real
life, its YOUR PROBLEM and the finger gets pointed at you.
If a member is offended by something that is posted, PM
me or the moderator of that category immediately and we
will look into it. DO NOT take it upon yourself to "correct"
the matter on your own, let us do our job and resolve the
dispute. On that note, any picture or content that you own
is yours and yours alone. PI at Night will not be held accountable
for any copyright issues. We will make every REASONABLE
effort to remove posts at your request.
2) No
flames and/or Trolling, ever: I
don't care if you carefully word your post; if its intention
is designed to upset someone, then it's not allowed. You
ARE allowed to disagree with another member and state your
opinion. Saying "I think you are wrong because..."
is ok. Saying "You're a fucking moron!" is not.
THREATS OF PHYSICAL VIOLENCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AT ALL!
3) We
are adults, act like one: We
all agreed that we are over 18 years of age. This site deals
with a mature subject matter, act accordingly. Childish
behavior is strongly discouraged. Some people have seemed
to have forgotten that our travels are all about having
fun. For the majority of you it’s a vacation spot!!!
Let's all try to be a little light-hearted and have FUN.
4) Racism
strictly forbidden: Holding
one entire group accountable for a single person’s
action is retarded. Saying something like "All Filipinos
are..." or "All Koreans are..." is not acceptable.
Calling a group a derogatory name is not acceptable either.
For instance saying, "I just love it how Flips....blah
blah blah" is a no-no and you will be warned.
5) No
spamming: If
you are a business owner you are MORE THEN WELCOME to go
ahead and post some events you have coming up, however talking
about your business in every other post is NOT allowed either.
My site is not an outlet for you to fly a banner to get
as much money as possible, ok?
6) Post
in the appropriate category: I
have categories all over the board. Just about everything
Philippine related has a home somewhere. Posting a good
joke, funny picture, or general chit-chat belongs in the
"Random Brainfarts & Blurts” not the "AC
Barhopping" section. I will move posts accordingly
and either the moderator or I will let you know why in the
body of the post. Let's try to keep it organized so this
board doesn't get cluster-fucked.
7) No
fake nicknames & No sharing passwords:
This board "self-moderates"
in that I am able to see the IP address of EVERY post as
well as other usernames that use the same IP address. I
realize some of you work together, so that is not an issue.
However, be aware that if you cannot say what you want to
under one name alone, then it’s not worth posting.
The EXCEPTION is to people that own a business here and
would like to be able to enjoy the board and relax without
being "Politically Correct". If this is the case,
simply PM me your reasoning as well as the names you wish
to use. If approved it will remain confidential and UP TO
YOU to maintain that confidentiality.
8) NEVER
EVER EVER show this board to a local:
Some people think it's cute to mention to the girl that
he saw her picture at "so-and-so". BELIEVE ME
when I tell you that IT IS NOT. All you do is upset the
girl, upset members, and piss me the hell off to the
point of banning you if I find out who it was. Believe
me that if I recognize the girl, I will get the story out
of her alot easier then you think. To top that off, once
I find out it was you, I will make a special post dedicated
to your name and why you were banned and it will be via
"Global Announcement". Like the first 2 out of
3 rules of the movie "Fight Club" - "You
DO NOT talk about PI at Night!". Consider this a "For
Foreign Men Only" club and KEEP it that way. I got
through alot of personal time to make sure that we keep
it that way, even to the extent to banning certain Internet
Cafes that I know the majority of girls visit.
9) No
harassing the moderators: I
put a certain amount of trust into the people that volunteer
their time to make this board a fun environment. They do
it for free, and I personally pay the bill and have never
accepted any sort of payment for this site. With that in
mind, please respect them as the people that actually CARE
about making this site fun for 99% of the visitors. If you
have a problem with a moderator, PM me directly and DO NOT
make a thread about it. As you can tell I am rather active
on my own site, and when it comes to resolving issues I
remain as neutral as possible. I will always respond to
these type of complaints sent directly to me.
10) No
underage crap! I
don't care if it's a "Watch your ass because I got
this one girl that said she was 18 and she was really X
years old!" Seriously DO NOT post anything about it.
Think about it, do you REALLY want to publish that for the
whole world to read? It's AGAINST THE LAW here and just
about everywhere else in the world. Also, if I suspect that
you are trying to find information on underage activities,
you will get ONE PM from me to briefly explain your intentions.
Failure to answer will be banishment from the board. Rape
or statutory rape is punishable by death by Philippine Law,
I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT! You will be instantly banned
if you mention it.

Members ARE NOT
Enforcers: I
have moderators; I don't need Hall Monitors/whistle blowers
telling other members how to behave. Your job is to have
fun here; mine is to make sure that the majority of members
have fun as well. We have a special section for moderators
to discuss events and what-not behind "closed doors".
PM one of us if you would like us to put a topic on the
table.
12) DO
NOT make useless posts: The moderators and I
have better things to do then sort through useless f'ing
posts. I'm also not interested in watching you try to get
your postcount up either. If you got something to say, say
it. If it's something stupid like "Wow" or "Neat"
or "Uh-huh", DON'T BOTHER POSTING.

Posting Pictures: For strict compliance! Absolutely
ZERO posting of pictures that has a child as the subject, subjects,
foreground or background. We are fairly certain that any sort of
tourist type of pictures can be taken and displayed without minors
in them.
No Posting other peoples pictures from other
websites!!!!: We don't need that kind of drama of people accusing
us of stealing pics to beef up this site. ALSO, there is a certain
amount of trust that goes into posting pictures. If you HAVE to
save them, keep it for your personal viewing and DO NOT EVER post
a personal picture you find on this board on another website unless
YOU are the owner of the picture and/or you have permission.
14) Military Personnel Rule: AGAIN for strict compliance!
This rule applies to all "Active Duty" and "Retired Military" members regardless of your country, although it is pointed at all
U.S. Military members due to the U.S. Military taking a keen and
very active interest in Human Trafficking and prostitution,
both of which are punishable under the UCMJ. A member we are
aware of, was court marshaled and discharged for the use
of the Internet/Message Board postings regarding military
personnel taking and enjoying leave in places such as the
Philippines and Thailand.
This being the case, there will
be absolutely no use of military email addresses for registration
(i.e. no .mil .gov .army etc). on this site and no identifying
what branch of service, unit, location, mission or exercise
you are or have been assigned to or involved in. Members failing
to adhere will have their account and all posts deleted without
question.If you are a retired U.S. military member, you
are still subject to the UCMJ and as such, there is to be no
posting of classified or what appears to be sensitive information.
NEVER give advice to other members on how to get around the rules
and regulations of the military or the UCMJ. NEVER speak the word
"Military" or make a Military type post with the words "Bar Fine,
EWR or Prostitution". First offenders will be given the standard
warning per board rules, repeat offenders will be suspended for 7
days and a third offense will see you banned entirely from this site.
If you are Military personnel from countries other than the U.S., you
are also subject to this same rule and you are encouraged to make yourself
fully aware of the military rules of your country, governing the use
of the Internet/Message Boards and travel to destinations such
as the Philippines and Thailand.The Military Personnel
Rule is for your benefit as much as it is for this site. It is not illegal to be in the military and be a member of this site, we just don't want to see you being investigated for something you may not be fully aware of or letting sensitive info slip out is all..!

The LAST Rule! - The "The unwritten rule that NEEDS to be written: Fucktard Rule"?:
This rule is for the members that "Just do not get it", the ones who
have trouble interpreting all the rules above. This board is a community of reasonably
"like minded" members who mostly enjoy the PI and all it has to offer.
The Moderating Team on PIatNight spend a lot of time keeping the board in order
for all to enjoy. The board has a certain 7quot;harmony" and the members mostly
post within the "ethics" of this harmony, disagreement and debate
(within reason) between board members is fine, but if you start running around
"pissing off" members and dribbling shit all over the board it is not..!
So, if you continually are getting into... * "Pissing Contests", arguing with members just to piss them off or draw them into arguments...
* "Trash Talk" towards members of the board or people of the Philippines
is not welcome. Do not misunderstand this, we all know the PI is a P4P destination
but there is a certain amount of RESPECT that is expected towards everyone,
members and the people of the PI (yes, bargirls included), saying "I think all bargirls are lying prostitutes" is acceptable, saying "They are all filthy rotten lying whores with cottage cheese growing out their pussies" is not..!
Same goes for trash talk towards members...
* "Using Fake Nicks" We have had problems in the past with guys
registering several fake nicknames just to stir up trouble on the
board or between members, do this and you will be shown little leniency
by the Moderators... * “Wildly different IP addresses is similar to the fake nick rule,
if you are bouncing your IPs and found posting crap on the board then your nick
and the IP will be banned.
* “Etc etc, you need to think before you post, this is the unwritten rule,
you continually piss people off, become unwelcome, a nuisance on the board
or upset the "board harmony" then you are a "FUCKTARD" and
will be dealt with accordingly..!We do not have the time, patience
or the need to deal with this type of member... You WILL BE BANNED, very
possibly, without reason or warning..!
